Hey y’all. I thought I would share a hand full of songs that employ another one of my favorite songwriting techniques. These are more intimate songs that are (usually) named for and focus on a single character. I personally refer to these types of songs as the roster, and tend to think of them as the audible equivalent of a portrait, candid snapshot, or short movie clip. Here are a few of my roster jams:
