Working for the State of North Carolina has quite a few perks. Not least of all, not having to traipse up 64 when the Governor declares weather-related states of emergency.
I’m thankful to have a job I don’t dread going to and colleagues I enjoy working with, but I never have trouble filling my time with an unexpected quiet day off.

Ha ha ha! I remember traipsing up the 64 when I lived in Virginia Beach an odd 2 score years ago! I too, absolutely love having unstructured days! Your snow pics are inspiring.
