I didn’t know color could create emotion.

I probably should have, but I just didn’t see it. I loved grey and earth tones. The stuff of actual reality. The raw coast and the dirt and the ocean. Practicalities and elements; what is necessary for survival. And chocolate. Ha. Which arguably falls into those categories.

I have supplements now. Emotionally and otherwise. My gut has more to work with and my cells don’t have to try so hard to work with as little as they had been . . . and everything Down Here doesn’t have to weigh so much nor nothing at all. There is space now for meaningful moments that don’t predicate closure and don’t produce anything at all. I am no longer addicted to productivity. And it’s made me more fruitful. I am learning to Abide. John 15

Somehow, I’m one of those people who can just enjoy experiences . . . simply spending time with other people and their souls.

Somehow, I am one of those people who can just enjoy.
Having time to lean doesn’t mean that I should start cleaning

Behold, what I have seen to be good and fitting is to eat and drink and find enjoyment {see good} in all the toil with which one toils under the sun the few days of his life that God has given him, for this is his lot.

Everyone also to whom God has given wealth and possessions and power to enjoy them, and to accept his lot and rejoice in his toil – this is the gift of God.

For he will not much remember the days of his life because God keeps him occupied with joy in his heart.

Ecclesiastes 5:18-20

Here’s to one last month of 31 years gold.
{totes a typo, but I’m leaving it. ✨}
